I am a married and have 2 sons. I have been married for 22 years. I live in Missoula, MT. I am currently unemployed. I am a USN Vet. I am now in the VA hospital in Sheridan, WY for PTSD, Depression, and suicidal tendencies. I am behind on my bills with no income right now. I am having relationship problems do to my youngest son being in the DFS system.

I like too Cook, Travel, Read. I enjoy being outdoors. I have lately got interested in crafts, Painting, bingo and cards. I like World of Warcraft online too. I like sports of all kinds, but Baseball, Football and Hockey the best.

Close Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Hello, my name is Jammye.I am a USN Vet who witnessed the tragic deaths of two shipmates.One was my best friend.The other was a member tof the Deck Dpartment on the USS Enterprise in 1987-88. I am married to a lovely woman for twenty-two years.We have two sons one is twenty and the other is thirteen. I also was in a fatality accident where to young adults died,last september in Iowa.I then jackknifed my semi in January of this year where I lost my job. I broke down and tried to hang myself.
Treatments
- Art Working / Worked
- I am doing some coloring and paint by numbers it allows me to focus on it.It takes my mind off negitive thoughts.
- Guided Imagery Working / Worked
- Lets me focus on the day and to relax me after troubled sleep.It puts me in a good mood to deal with the day ahead.
- Music Working / Worked
- relaxes me too be able to cope with tension and stress.
- Psychotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- It is too soon to tell,I have only had a couple sessions. There are programs here at the VA but I haven't met some of their criteria.
- Reading Working / Worked
- I have found some good books and have learned from them.
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- Keeps me from feeling down and out. Allows me to focus on classes that the VA wants me to take to better able to cope with my disease.150mg daily.
- Walking Working / Worked
- I walk daily to lose wieght to prevent the onset of diabeties High blood pressure.Allows me to be outdoors and to notice the seenery.
- Ambien Not Working
- It woorked for awhile but then I would not be able to get to sleep and kept waking up after two hours and would toss and turn the rest of the night or I would be up the rest of the night.10mg for 5 nights and to nights with out have built up tolarance.
- Prazosin Too Soon to Tell
- I have only been on it a week so it to soon to tell yetmakes me hungry.I started at 1mg to a progresive too 10mg.only 8mg right now.
Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSMy wife of 22years has RRMS and I have PTSD. She has had 2 really bad episodes since diagnosed since 2002.I have had several friends and my Father die suddenly. My PTSD came out full force in June after I lost my job and our health insurance. My wife is with out her copaxone and I'm in the VA hospital dealing with PTSD/Suicide/Depression. She won't seek help.
