               Life is short, so is my memory

                maybe that's better

               I keep thinking of a story

                that would really be a bummer

                so maybe it's not so bad

                what I don't remember

               Life is short,  and so is my trust

                 I can't think of a time 

               when I can remember feeling it

                it vanishes like lust
