About Me
Mom to 3 adult sons, (one died 6 years ago) and 2 adult step-daughters. No grandchildren - Second marriage for both my husband and I - He has 2 daughters. His oldest daughter hates him - took his mom's side in the divorce. That was about 15 years ago. We've always had a congenial relationship with the younger daughter - she even called me Mom, when she comes to visit. This week, she phoned us to tell us, she's getting married and we're not invited because her sister, who hates my husband, said she won't come, if her dad is there. HURTS!!! They live in WA state and we're in California. 6 years ago, my oldest son died unexpectedly. He was only 25. I have a son who will be 29 in Nov and a 25 yr old who just got out of the military in June. He is currently attending college and waiting ever so patiently for his new GI Bill to kick in so he can get an apartment with his basic housing allowance. I am a Navy Mom (veteran now) I've been remarried now 7 1/2 years to a retired military man.
