This is my Saluki Jani (pronounced Johnnie). He's my constant companion. Salukis are an ancient breed known as the Royal Dog of Egypt. His name, in Persian means "assassinator of the desert." He was named before he came to us, and he's the most loving creature. He's 2 years old.

I’m With You
I enjoyed seeing the pic of Johnnie, he's a very handsome, regal and majestic dog. I saw a show about that breed on animal planet "Dogs 101". I know how you feel about him, I'm the same way about my German Shepherd Hannah. There's no other person or animal on the planet that will give us the unconditonal, loyal love and adoration to us like our furry kids do.

Close Loneliness
I am always on the outside and have only myself to lean on. I don't trust easily due to judgments from others. Moving to a new high school in my senior year due to my father's job, I had a "friend" tell me "nobody likes you." I thought I had made many new friends and participated in lots of sports and made the Honor Society. This has been a pattern in my life. If I died there would be no friends at the funeral. I have no one to call who will listen. I'm just sad and lonely.
