      Dear Alana,
      I always look forward to your comments on my journal. I hope you know that you are one of the really cool people I have met here, and I am a better person for having you along to share this part of the ride. Thanks for your comments. What I wonder is why I can't be profound at 1 pm as opposed to, say, 1 am? I'm back to the sleeplessness again, and I am so tired.
