Close ADHD / ADD
My son has been recently diagnosed with ADD. He is 9 years old and I am hearbroken. I feel that this is somehow my fault and that I should have seen the signs earlier.
Close Eating Disorders
Type: BulimiaI have been bulimic since my late teens. I am now 30 and continue to struggle with my eating disorder. I binge and purge at least once a week sometimes more. I need support from people who understand in order to keep my ed under control.
Treatments
- Prozac Working / Worked
- Worked well for about a year. Currently my 20mg dose is not helping anymore.
Open Back Pain
Microdiscectomy at L4-L5. Disc herniation at L3-L4. Sciatica
Treatments
- Acupuncture Somewhat Helpful
- Not the miracle cure I was expecting. Okay with pain but did not help much.
- Bedrest Somewhat Helpful
- Only helps when I have over done it with something like standing or sitting. Too much bedrest agravates the pain.
- Epidural Injection Working / Worked
- Worked for about 6 months at a time. Had a total of 4 epidurals.
- Flexeril Working / Worked
- Great for helping me with pain but not so much in the long run.
- Heat Working / Worked
- Temporary relief only
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Great for the pain. Not for long term obviously. Made me sick to my stomach though.
- Ibuprofen Working / Worked
- As long as the pain is not severe it helps.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- Best of all the pain killers. Caused me stomach problems.
- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- Not the best. Not that great for pain.
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Sometimes I felt like this was a waste of time.
- Stretching Somewhat Helpful
- Helped me more after surgery than before.
- TENS Not Working
- Did nothing for me.
