Hello journal. This is my first entry, and I am new to this site. I hope to find others that are in a similar status as me, and can offer me strength …

About Me
I am looking to connect with others like me and heel from the struggles that keep hanging on. I tried saving my marriage for a few years with counseling, and various other means. Then found out my wife was cheating on me with a co-worker. That gave me the strength to put my foot down. Two days following divorce being final, she shared all the details with me, and another affair she had. I'm also trying to recover from identifying her alcoholism. She is in a treatment program now and doing quite well. Me, I'm hanging by a thread from all the changes in my life and realizing life is not always as honest and true as it seems. I'm a father to a teenage son who I have joint custody. My new found time with him is much appreciated each day. Our relationship is closer than it ever has been.
