Well im still awake. Its 2:54pm and sleep hasnt taken me yet.

Ive had an eventful day.

I spent the better part of my morning down at the Centerlink office attempting to get my disability payments organised so I can have some money to pay my rent.

SUCCESS. They put me on Newstart allowance which is about $560au a fortnight. Which is more then enough to cover my rent. They also gave me a nifty health care card which gives me my meds for $5 instead of $50 or $30. Im pumped. This is the best thing to happen to me in months.

Ill be getting more money once my actual Disability pension comes through and the chick was saying something interesting about all kinds of benefits. Its all very new to me. I cannot believe something went right for once.

Another good thing: I got my vision back today, in the form of a new pair of glasses. I dont think I like them as much as my old ones but I can see again. Hopefully the migranes will go away and ill feel better in my head.

So my mood still a shitstorm but at least my rents going to be paid and Ill have a little cash to help around here. I really cant believe it. Ive been waiting so long for this to happen.

Oh and Im watching a fantastic film right now called 'Phoebe in Wonderland' its amazing. Its a story about a 10 year old girl with a mental illness. She has what appears to be Autism and has some incredible OCD tendancies. Its a realistic portrayal into the mentally ill mind. Im quite taken with it.

Now i believe, after i finish watching this movie, im going to go rustle me up a bacon and egg roll with looots of BBQ sauce and possibly some hot chips with gravy. A celebration. Hurrah!
