About Me
I'm 26 years old and live in Western MA. Was diagnosed with Crohns Disease back in 2005. Have been up and down with the disease since then. I have been though a whole bunch of the medications most of which have either not worked or i have had bad reactions to them. I have been hospitalized on 2 different occasions because of the Crohns but *knock on wood* have not had to have surgery yet. I am currently taking Humira injections weekly and 40mg. of prednisone mainly because of my secondary autoimmune disease called Pyroderma Gangrenosum. I would love to talk with people that have similar issues so feel free! =)

Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I have Crohns Disease and Pyroderma Gangrenosum. 2 debilitating autoimmune diseases. I am here to speak with people with similar issues to help get through the hard times.
Treatments
- Entocort Not Working
- Didn't work.
- Flagyl Not Working
- Used in the past, didn't work.
- Humira Working / Worked
- Currently taking once a week.
- Methotrexate Not Working
- Used in the past and was allergic. Ended up getting Pancreatitisfrom it and was hospitalized.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Am currently on 40 mg. I hate taking it because of all the horrible side effects (moon face, weight gain, insomnia, mood swings, constant hunger and thirst, constant bathroom trips)
- Remicade Not Working
- Used in the past. Had bad reaction a few treatments into it. Chest got very constricted, couldn't breath.
- Yoga Working / Worked
- Try to go to class every week it helps my stress immensely!
Open Depression
I have 2 autoimmune diseases. Crohns and Pyroderma Gangrenosum. I am hear to talk with people that have similar issues to help when things are looking really bad.

- Have tried in the past and got severe headaches.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked

- Trazodone Somewhat Helpful
- Used in the past.
- Zoloft Too Soon to Tell
