About Me
After years and years of being in pain, this last year being the worst, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, PCOS and scaring of the uterus. Although I am relieved that I finally know what is wrong with me, and soon after surgery I felt much better, but now feel worse, sick, dealing with the bleeding and lethargy. I am scared about my future in child bearing, and just trying to survive this by myself - that is why I am here, because I cannot do this by myself.

Thank you so much. Starting to feel alittle better. I got a little of my voice back, but still have to be silent as much as possible. I'm definitely in a better mood today. How are you doing? I've been thinking alot about you lately.

Close Endometriosis
recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS. I had surgery August 09, and have had ups and downs. I feel better, but some days I feel aweful. I feel very alone struggling with all that comes emotionally as well as physically with this illness, and am looking for understanding support.
Treatments
- Progesterone Not Working
- Progesterone made my periods unpredictable and I have passed many large, blood clots, very painful.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- I had a laparoscopic surgery with a D & C August 2009. It was the first time that I actually got answers and a diagnosis, which made me feel relieved - it was not all in my head! During the first month after surgery, I have had ups and downs, but I feel like overall the feeling of pressure/fullness is gone.
Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I found out I have PCOS along with endometriosis. I have been dealing with the pain from the endo and the stress and hormone rollercoasters from the PCOS.
Treatments
- Depo-Provera Not Working
- I was on this for 7 years for birthcontrol as well, as my body does not tolerate estrogen. I had stuburn weigh gain, depression, and morning sickness.
- Laparoscopic Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- Surgery Aug. 23rd for endo, pain is still here, hormones are not regulating.
