  checking in and hoping all is well. having some issues I've been dealing with so been out of touch for a couple of weeks. have pdoc appt today. Probably another medicine change coming. Anxiously awaiting to see what he wants to do

  Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. As a newbie, I was unaware of the board for friends/spouses of. I took everyone's great advice & joined up. Here's the thing: there are blacks who get upset when they see a white person 'in their hood'. there are whites who want to exlude anyone they consider to be 'not white'. There is nothing to be gained in segregation & exclusion. We lonly have to look at societies where this was & is a pattern. the end result is mutual hostility & shared ignorance! Many BP's chose to marry Normies. These same people cannot use the condition as an excuse to now justify hatred of normies-except my partner because s/he's not like those others! It is like being an Antisemite married to a Jew! As challenging as it may be, we'd best build bridges & not walls.

  Thanks for the clarification... There is a very opinionated member of either the anxiety group or panic attacks group who tells people that they must not want to get better if they don't want to take addictive benzos... And he's very rude about it. I thought you were talking about the same person. Anyway, hugs to you!!!
