I am 61 years young. Presently living on SSD. MS has drastically changed my life from what it was. Learning to cope with it, and accept the limitations of this disease. Add to this my life mate has been dx'd with Alzheimer's Disease. But he is trying to give up on life. Getting him to move and do things is a chore. Life is what you make it!!!!

Interests
Love of nature and animals. Nice cool forests with many birds to watch...Love those Birds. I feed all the wild birds around us. Yoga and meditation have helped me with the stresses of life. Trying to learn more and more about inner peace.

Dear sweetie, glad you got thru your chemo. Now rest & watch parade if you feel like it, nap & rest. So thankful for your friendship and support and for being there to cheer me on when I am down.

Hi sweetie! I am glad to have a break off driving Nick to school! LOL :) I was thinking of how a year ago, I was taking art classes at the White Bear Center for the Arts, I was taking pottery and jewelry ... I miss it, SO MUCH! Now, unfortunately, I can't afford school any more. But I am glad to have the week off! I can't believe they have that much time off for t-day, then for Christmas, they don't have it off until the 24th! But we are going to leave on the 22nd and he'll miss school 2 days, so we can drive to Denver. I hope you're having a great day!

Type: Seconday Progressive MSNovantrone chemo caused heart problems for me. No longer taking any type of Treatment.
Treatments
- Baclofen Working / Worked
- It is helping with the muscle spasms.
- Swimming Working / Worked
- Does help with the leg muscles, even walking in the water helps.
- Cytoxan Working / Worked
- Fantastic Chemo for me, stopped me from falling and increasing the strength in my lower limbs in order to walk and avoid the wheelchair.
