Sorry that you are feeling down.
I had a similar experience during my fourth miscarriage, and it drove me crazy.
They couldn't tell if there was a slow hb, or none at all. Then they told me that my body had absobed the baby. At the next ultrasound, I was told they could see a smal fetal pole.
Get a doctor that you both like and trust. They should be knowledgeable about medicine, and caring enough to help you reach your goal to have a child.

Close Miscarriage
I have had 2 miscarriages this year. The first was at the end of march at 6weeks. This was a natural early mis. The second was in August, when at a scan at 10 1/2 weeks we discovered there was no heart beat, I had to have a d&c.
