To Dariel…My Husband, My Best Friend When we said, “Till death do us part,”…We could not imagine this day.But we knew we had each other’s backs,…No matter come what may. We shared a love that few could understand,Yet through every trial, we walked hand in hand. The memories you gave me,…Are time I shared with my best friendThe bond we share between us..is something that will never end. When I close my eyes,All I see are snapshots of our life…From our laughter, to our boysAnd all it meant to be your wife. Whether it was one of our great vacations,Or just our back yard fires;It was really just our conversationsOf which we never tired. For every cabin that we rented,And every lake our little boat would cross…I have precious memoriesAnd that can never be a loss. Together, we said, We made such a great team.Spending the rest of my life without youWasn’t part of the team. But I will make you proud DarielAnd our boys will be just fine…For you’ll live in our heartsAnd always on our minds. We always said we’d never say goodbye-It was just “I’ll see you later.”So that is what I’ll do,But I need just one more favor. While you’re there in heaven,Find us that cabin on the lake.And when I finally get there,It will be just like old times sake.
