10 yr old son with ADHD/Tourettes
Treatments
- Adderall Somewhat Helpful
- Caused increased anger/rage. Stopped using this med
- Daytrana Working / Worked
- LOVED it! Very easy to control. Can leave it on for entire dose, or remove it early on days when full dose is not needed. Stopped this med only because son had irritation due to the patch
- Focalin Working / Worked
- Current med. Works well, but dosage needs to be adjusted frequently
- Strattera Not Working
- Made no differnce
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHave been clinically depressed for over 10 years
Treatments
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Works well. Taking extended release, 300mg. Missing a dose or two will cause a set back/breakdown
- Paxil Somewhat Helpful
- Probablly didn't take this long enough to get the full effect.
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- Did not like Prozac, increased suicidal feelings
- Psychotherapy Not Working
- Surprisingly, this increased my depression
Open Tourette Syndrome & Tic Disorders
10 year old son recently diagnosed, though looking back has had symptoms since 3-4 years old.
