About Me

I am 26 almost 27 and been on dialysis since feb 27th 2009. I am married to the most wonderful man since May 3rd 2008. I have polycystic kidney disease and it runs in my family. My mom, uncle, grandma, great aunt, great grandma all had /have the disease. My mom says that when I was born the doctor saw spots on my kidneys. My disease got bad over the last year and none of my doctors know why. I have been through 2 fistula surgeries and 1 graft surgery, 2 catheters, and many catheter exchanges, and many de clotting surgeries to open my graft that did not work. Currently im waiting for my new fistula to mature so they can use it and take out my catheter. All of this has been since march of 2009.
