Hey thanks for the hug girl. BTW the name is Tony, whose Doug? LOL!!! I am in California... In the Sierra, not the beach, and we are just crawling out from under a 2 day storm this morning that did some damage. I had my doctor's appointment yesterday in the dark as the power was out. That was something new. I've had a flare up also for the last 3 days but it looks like its over today. -- As for my vacation, its still on, as long as the $$$$ is there. So between now and January there can be no unexpected expenses. Thanks for ur reply its good to know ur still hanging around and hopefully you'll be feeling better soon.

Close Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2005. Onset was about 20 years ago. Also diagnosed with diabetes, migraine headaches, liver disease, arthritis, ulcers, IBS.
Treatments
- Acupressure Working / Worked
- works for neck shoulder and back pain/
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- I tried accupunture about 18 years ago for migraine, endometriosis, neck and shoulder pain. Frequency of headaches decreased significantly. Neck and shoulder pain almost eliminated. No help for endometriosis. Considering trying again.
- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Part of my physical therapy treatment. Helped with the pain but not fatigue.
- Effexor Not Working
- Been on effexor xr for 5 years now. Helped at first, but is not working at all for pain or fatigue. Is starting to not work for my depression. Tried to stop but the withdrawals were scary.
- Heat Working / Worked
- Helps soothe lower back and upper back pain.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Worked for pain but could not tolerate side effects. sleepiness, weight gain, and skin rashes.
- TENS Working / Worked
- Use as needed, and with physical therapy. Help ease the pain in neck and shoulders.
