Hey. Im not going to give my real name to everyone cuz idk. if i go to apply for a job and they google find this i might be SOL. I picked the name 7years after one of my favorite songs, "seven years" by saosin (back when they still had anthony greene on vocals). idk some of u might now it? Anyway... Im going to school for political science, which is basically the path to law school and later politics. Im a freshman in college, first semester (u know what its like). Just thought it would be cool to get to know the people on this sight if were expected to confide in each other. I guess u guys probably already know each other so its just me thats out of the loop but thats ok. my expectations for this site was too find people i can connect with and share my thoughts about life experiences and personal struggles. Im sure thats why most of u are here so hopefully im not alone in that. This is my first chat/ blog/ support site besides myspace so im kinda new to how things work and how to go about meetng people. Im going to start by being as open with everyone here as possible. Anyway, message me back, id really like to hear from u. Idk. Just putting that out there. I figure i have enough problems, what do i have to lose by putting myself out there on a support site for psychological ailments. lol see ya guys...

Interests
i love music. listen to it all the time. play guitar, bass guitar, piano, and learning drums. Im not trying to sound like one of those myspace kids who claim to play instruments that i really cant. idk how to show u over this site that i actually value the pursuit of music other than give u a link to my bands myspace. but then id be giving away my real name and im just not comfortable with that. at least not to a general audience of people whom i know nothing about. if i get to know u maybe? Other than music, i attend college which takes up a large portion of my week, and use the rest of my time to attend shows (preferably punk/screamo/emo/hardcore/metal/pop punk/thrash or ska), spend time with my family, and chill with friends and usually a girlfriend. And there u go. id say love it or hate but id rather u not hate it. i mean my goal is to make friends and seek support. right?

I am joining this support this group because, even though i have had sex, i agree that sex should be seen as the highest level of intimacy and not as a sport. I am a freshman in college and have only had sex with one girl, of whom i dated for over a year. I guess i just feel like it would be great to interact with people who agree with my ideas on this, because i am unfortunately surrounded by people who don't.

- I listen to a lot of music and i really think that helps me cope with a lot of my problems to an extent. It dosent help me all the time though, especially at night.

- I have a lot of friends that i spend time with but i dont think friends are the best people to turn to when dealing with problems. I always try to have some degree of a girlfriend, not to have sex, just to have someone whom i can be intimate about my feelings.
