Finally diagnosed in 2000 for fibromyalgia after years of mismedicine, diagnoses, countless of tests

Acupuncture Not Working

Did not like.

Aqua Therapy Working / Worked

It works, have one in-home. Can only stand it 20 mins every other day. Causes me dizziness and nausea.

Cyclobenzaprine Somewhat Helpful

It worked for 1 year...then had to switch to something else

Cymbalta Working / Worked

It worked well, but had to come off after intestinal and ulcer bleeding.

Duragesic Patch Working / Worked

Causes me to sleep the first day and can only wear it for 3 days sometimes 2x a month. Side effects are extreme dizziness and nausea when I have fever with flareups. Only use for extreme pain.

Elavil Somewhat Helpful

Too much weight gain!

Heat Working / Worked

Use more during weather changes.

Lyrica Working / Worked

Just started this for second time. It seems to help more than when it first came out. Side effects, swelling, weight gain, blurred vision for 1hr.

Morphine Working / Worked

About every 6 mos. by hospital infusion for my extreme pain.

Neurontin Working / Worked

Only taking half doses since using Lyrica.

TENS Working / Worked

It helps some.

Ultram Somewhat Helpful

It stopped working and caused more stomach problems for me.

Zanaflex Working / Worked

Still using it.
