About Me
Married 23 years, have a 19 year old son. Cancer seems to run in my family. My mother had breast cancer at age 47, it recurred at age 50 stage IV, she died from it at age 51. My father had kidney cancer at age 64, had one kidney removed.All was well with him until January (2009) a CAT scan showed a spot on his lung (it was cancer) turned out to have spread to his brain, he passed away in June (2009) Also, in August (2009), my brother was diagnosed with stage II melanoma, he's had surgery, no evidence of cancer spread, so far he's doing fine. I have had bilateral breast biopsies in 2001 at age 38 (benign) Now I have a BI-RADS 3 (2009) mammogram for new microcalcifications, waiting to see what THIS is.

- Actonel Not Working
- Have been on it for 2 1/2 years. Dexa showed my bone density got a little worse.
- Calcium Somewhat Helpful
- Get stomach cramps almost daily.
- Forteo Considering
- my doctor is thinking about putting me on this. Heard it's a daily injection, not sure I want to use this drug.
- Miacalcin Somewhat Helpful
- Used it for pain after my rib fracture.
- Zometa Considering
- Another drug my doctor is considering using. I like the idea that it is once a year.
