Close Amputees

I am a picture framer and have been framing for about 22 years. Saturday night, 1/2 hour before I was to close the shop..I thought I should just cut that one last frame. I looked the other way, and just cut the first inch of my left index finger off. It hurt instantly, and got worse for the next two weeks. It was a fobia of mine..but I survived and continue to heal. I see what is left, not what I lost. I get sad sometimes, I just try to focus on what it takes to go forward.

Physical Therapy Working / Worked

I couldn't be where I am today if I didn't force myself to go through painful therapy.

Prosthetic Device Working / Worked

I am getting a prosthetic after the swelling goes down.hopefully in the forth or fifth month.
