Close Endometriosis
I have lived with endometriosis for 25 years. I have a "miracle child" age 8 but continue to live with chronic pain. I need a place to talk and get support from people who know what endo is like!
Treatments
- Hysteroscopy Working / Worked
- Worked to get rid of my melon-sized uterine fibroid, but I ended up having a hysterectomy years later.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- I have had 8 endo surgeries and though they helped with the acute problems - ovarian endometriomas, fibroids, twisted ovaries, etc., etc., they have left me with nerve entrapment and chronic muscle spasms.
- Lupron Somewhat Helpful
- My 6 months on Lupron shrunk my fibroid but were the most miserable 6 months of my life depression insomnia weight gain hot flashes anger outbursts. I would not do this again!
