      Type: Loss of a Partner/Spouse

My husband died suddenly on January 7, 2007. He was a diabetic and had been dealing with a foot infection. For some unknown reason, he developed fluid around his lungs. He also had a blood infection. I think it was too much for his heart and it just gave out. I don't have the autopsy results yet.

      Treatments

      Crying Somewhat Helpful
The crying comes occasionaly. Sometimes I feel like I'm not crying enough.
      Grief Counseling Somewhat Helpful
I spoke to a chaplain at the hospital where my husband died. She gave me some suggestions on local groups. I haven't contacted any yet.
      Prayer Somewhat Helpful
It does calm me at times.
