I am a Respiratory Therapist, working 40 plus hours per week on the night shift. I have a pain management doctor that keeps me functional although some days are questionable.

1997 my late husband and I had the flu and we were down for about two weeks. I never completely recovered and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in the monthes that followed. 2003 I was rearended at 60mph while waiting for traffic to start moving. I hurt my back and had to have back surgery. The fibro symptoms increased and so did the pain medication intake. Every day it is the same old routine of therapy and pain meds. Some days are better than others and I just keep pushing forward. I refuse to let this syndrome drag me down.
