I am a 23 year old recently diagnosed CML patient. After two weeks of being on Gleevec my WBC has returned to normal. I looooove dancing and was recently first runner up in the Miss Illinois pageant! This is a very new situation for me to deal with and would appreciate any advice.

It will get better. Patience is a hard thing to have with this diagnosis....trust me... lol I have never been super patient.

- Gleevec Working / Worked
- after 2 weeks wbc was normal. Side effects are not so great but still only in 3rd week of treatment
