About Me
I am married and have two great children of my own and a wonderful step daughter. I have found a new faith in the Lord and feel very blessed to have such a wonderful, loving family. I was diagnosed with Pseudotumor Cerebri two years ago and it has really taken it's toll on me, physically and mentally. It has caused anxiety, as well as depression, but I am trying to work through it the best that I can.

Interests
I love being outdoors, although this past two years have been unable. I love doing yardwork..... I love romping on our 4wheelers and riding with my husband on his motorcycle. I love the water. I especially love camping with my family. I love animals...I have two minpins, Gracie Lucille and Chevy Cheyenne. I also have a retired race horse, Countess Jewel. I can't stay off the computer...my hubby thinks I am addicted....lol...I have met some wonderful people online and refuse to give that up!

Close Pseudotumor Cerebri
I was diagnosed early 2008. I have had numerous spinal taps and am looking forward to haveing an lp shunt soon. I have met so many wonderful people with this ilness and feel blessed to have the support that they give me!
Close Diabetes Type 1
My step daughter has type 1 diabetes and I can use support from others.
Treatments
- Insulin Pump Somewhat Helpful
- Being a teen, my step daughter goes through a lot of ups and downs.....
- NovoLog Somewhat Helpful
- My step daughter uses this in her pump.
Open Depression
Depression and anxieties getting me down due to family issues and medical issues.
Treatments
- Celexa Not Working
- I stopped taking it due to side effects.
- Cymbalta Too Soon to Tell
- Just started it a week or so ago. Too soon to tell if it is working very well, or not.
- Paxil Not Working
- Made me vomit all night. Stopped taking it.
- Prozac Somewhat Helpful
- I stopped taking it, due to side effects that I didn't like.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I see a counselor weekly. It seems to help a lot better than any meds, although I started on Cymbalta recently.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- For the most part, it helps, to a point. Sometimes feel as they may not fully understand what I am feeling.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- Worked for a while to stop the anxiety issues. Doc's kept trying to add meds. stopped taking it because I didn't feel like it was working as well as it did in the beginning.
