Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
I had "extensive bilateral pe's" and a DVT in my right thigh in December 08, and was ill for six months in all. In July I was pronouned 'cured' by a hospital registrar and taken off warfarin, and precisely three weeks later had a second DVT event again in my right thigh so now I am back on warfarin probably for life and have been reacquainted with the delightful (not) anti-embolism stockings.
Treatments
- Coumadin Working / Worked
- No problems at all with Warfarin.
