Hug
Hi! I'm in the same boat with the adhd son and husband gone on the road working for weeks. We dont medicate anymore(god help us) When we were he was well behaved but angry, sad and mean when it wore off. We're currently trying an organic diet and herbal remedies, but cant brag much about it...yet. Be strong and hang in there. This is a good place to vent I've found and makes me feel a little better when i'm down and overwhelmed.

Close Parents of Children with ADHD
My son was acting out, never able to sit still and got very angry over the littles things. I took him in thinking it was Diabetes, but turns out it's ADHD/ODD. We are on Adderall two weeks now. So far better.
Close ADHD / ADD
My 5 year old was diagnosed with ADHD/ODD about three weeks. We have already been suspended from kindergarten. We are on Adderall and having some improvemtents. I want to meet other parents in the same boat as I feel all alone here.
Treatments
- Adderall Somewhat Helpful
- We were on 5 mg for two weeks just upped to 10 mg, so it's too soon to see the full results.
