Close Bipolar Disorder
I have days where I just feel like everything is a lost cause and reading some of the comments on this site made me realize I'm not alone. I think this site will help me to deal with life a little more easily.
Treatments
- Depakote Working / Worked
- This definitely helps in controlling my bp.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- It helped to a certain degree but then my doctor didn't refill my prescription and I don't know why. I am changing doctors though and will try to get back on it.
- Zyprexa Somewhat Helpful
- Helps me sleep but I don't like the side effects the next morning. I find I have NO energy all day and I feel drowsy all day.
- Clonazepam Working / Worked
- I find it is one of my best working pills as it keeps me calm but not to the point of drowsy. I take one pill in the morning to keep me calm during the day and then two at night to help me sleep.
Close Fibromyalgia
I am having problems dealing with my fibromyalgia and I am hoping that there will be people who can help me to cope with the things I am dealing with.
Treatments
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Worked for many years but then stopped working.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- It was the only thing that worked in controlling the pain but I had to use a lot more of it then the doctor recommended he put me on 1 pill 3 times a day but I had to take 3 pills at once in order for the pain to just be tolerated. He has now taken me off them as he says I am abusing them but now I get to the point where I cant even get out of bed some days. I will be seeing a new doctor soon though and hopefully he can give me something that will work.
Open Hypothyroidism
I have just recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My previous doctor had me diagnosed as hyperthyroidism so I was on the wrong meds and it was reeking havoc with my health. My new doctor saw what was happening and put me on a new med but also put me on a moderate level of the med. I'm starting to feel better now but I still need support from people who have gone through this.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- I've just started taking this med very recently but so far it seems to be working and I haven't noticed any side effects.
- Elavil Somewhat Helpful
- Started to help when I was first diagnosed although I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism I dont know why my old doctor put me on this but soon I started having MAJOR side effects when it stopped working EXTREME moodiness depression no energy just wanting to sleep EXTREME hunger.
