Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
To share my IC experiences and to help people who are newly diagnosed
Treatments
- Bladder Distention Working / Worked
- These may have helped the most out of the majority of things I tried. I wound up getting the Interstim implant and that has helped the most. Reduced my pain from a 9 to about a 4, which is livable. Went from 5 to 6 Norco a day down to 1, sometimes 2, but very rarely. a day
- Bladder Instillation Not Working
- Really didn't notice a relief in symptoms. My main symptom is pain
- Elmiron Not Working
- Did not work. I tried it for about 1 1/2 years. I had to empty the capsule into my mouth as my stomach could not handle the capsule
- VESIcare Not Working
- Could not tolerate this drug. Messed up my stomach. I also have IBS and Fibro
Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I'm almost 48 hours into my quit and need the support and give support to others

- Chantix Working / Worked
- It's working great. I even quit a day earlier than planned. I'm not experiencing any side effects.

- just telling myself I have to do this and working through the urges.
