    • Rainbow

      From firelady October 31

Sending a rainbow after the rain ! I hope you are enjoying a beautiful Saturday.
It was in the low 40's here this morning. Kind of cool. Crazy thing is we had the air on late afternoon yesterday and then a little heat this morning. That is Texas !!! Thanks for the comment on my journal. I do try to keep up and read journals but sometimes it just doesn't get done. I hope you have a wonderful Saturday and Sunday. I am pretty sure we will be watching all of those ball games. He is really excited. Hugs !!!!

    • Ray of Sunshine

      From firelady October 26

I don't know about Missouri but Texas is drowning. So much water. Heavy thunderstorms last night. Hard on old people with arthritis. So I am looking for some sunshine. We are going through some tough days right now. I think hubby's PD dementia is getting worse. I try to ignore the symptoms but some times it just is not possible. I understand about knowing you should not do some things but you just "forget" and do them again. haha I hope you feel lots better really soon. xoxo

I have had Parkinsons for 9 years and would like to share experiences with other PD people

      Treatments

      Comtan Working / Worked
Worked well but had to stop taking it because I did not have the money to buy it when I reached the gap in my insurance.
      Ibuprofen Working / Worked
Use it some times and works good.
      Keeping Busy Somewhat Helpful
I try to stay busy doing something all of the time, from morning to late at night, working in and around the house. I do a lot on the computer, but I overdo it and that causes problems. I never could pace myself.
      Requip Working / Worked
I use it as one of my main medicine, and it works very well.
      Sinemet Working / Worked
I use it as one of my main medicines. It works great and I could not do without it.
      Symmetrel Working / Worked
Just started taking it and it is working very well for now.
