I keep thinking of the film Defending Your Life. You only move on if you live a life without fear. Boy am I introuble!!! I live in Michigan in a houseful of dogs and cats. I spent 25 years in Florida and have been back a couple years. I love to travel, particularly to the UK and Ireland, as well as the North woods of Michigan and Canada. I'm divorced, and share a house with my sister.

I haven't forgotten to write you back, I've just been feeling mentally and physically drained for the past few days. One thing though, I haven't read the Twilight books : ) The movie version is captivating though.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I'm bipolar I with major depression and here to find kindred spirits. I am no longer working, waiting for a hearing for social security since they turned me down the first time I applied. Once an avid reader, I now have difficulty getting through anything - even the newspaper comics. My concentration, attention to detail, memory, etc., are things of the past. My family is not very supportive - don't understand why I don't just snap out of it and go back to work. LOL! If only!
Treatments
- Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
- Hasnt made the difference I was hoping for yet but my pdoc is confident.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- Again not where I want to be but it does give me a little more energy.
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- I started having real anger issues. Actually jumped out of my car when a guy ran a stop sign and stopped short in front of me because I wasnt driving an American car and screamed at him that he drives like a little bitch. Thats when the doctor tried first tegretol and now lamictal. No more outrageous anger!
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- Definitely takes the edge off the panic and anxiety.
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI want to find some kindred spirits. I'm diagnosed with major depression, miled type 1 bipolar and GAD. Need some help, advice and occasionally a shoulder to cry on. And mine is available as well.
Treatments
- Lexapro Not Working
- My pdoc is determined that this is going to work. Just increased dosage to 20 mgs.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- Gives me a little more energy, but adds to the anxiety.
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- The mood swings havent been swinging so far. And the angry outbursts are a thing of the past.
