Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- I was on ativan for at the start of my BP in order to control the manic episodes. It worked for me, the only thing is to be careful with dosing since the sedative effects increase with dosage increase
- Depakote Working / Worked
- I have took depakote as part of my BP cocktail for quite a while; it was later changed to tegretol because of insurance issues. It stabilized my moods, I found that the very highs and lows are no longer there
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- Working as part of my BP cocktail. I have noticed that once in awhile I am more prone to slight dizzy spells especially if I have not eaten or drank enough water
- Tegretol Working / Worked
- Works great as part of cocktail. Minimal side effecets primarily sedating effect (gets easier to deal with with time)
- Effexor Working / Worked
- This is the last of my BP cocktail meds. I find that Effexor taken either once XR or twice a day non XR really has helped to calm me down and allowed me to look at the brighter side of life so to speak
