Close Miscarriage

We decided to begin our family December 2008. Since then, I've had 2 miscarriages. One was at 13 weeks (baby stopped growing at 9 weeks) in March and the other was at 11 weeks in June. I had a D&C for both. I have been tested for uterine abnormalities, antibodies (that would attack the baby), and also for progesterone. All tests were normal. We have been told, "Try again."

Treatments

D&C Working / Worked

I've had 2 D&Cs (unfortunately). One took place at a surgical center and the other was at the hospital. My OB did both of them, but the staff was different. I was put all the way under. Going to the hospital is like going to your baby's funeral (the one that you won't actually get to have). My husband, mom and mother-in-law were there for both of them. It's better than 'seeing' my baby at home in the bathroom. I couldn't handle that.

HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked

Thank goodness it doesn't last long though (5 minutes). It was somewhat painful. I was crying during it (not sure if it was the physical or EMOTIONAL pain though). There was good news, nothing is abnormal with my uterus.

Close Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility

I am on my 3rd pregnancy. No live births yet.
