Close Hysterectomy

im a 40 yr old scared half-to-death who is scheduled for the big surgery september 14, 2009. I am going thru so many emotions right now. My periods of gotten to the point that i can't even get out of bed and the big cut it seems is the only alternative for me. I am a complete animal when i am in pain. I can't think or eat or sleep. I have lost 60 pounds since January, which is definitely a good thing, but i hear rumors that after the surgery i will be gaining weight. OMG!! I have sought out all the information possible out there pertaining to the BIG CUT. i make jokes how im getting ready to become a boy, which down deep im convinced i am getting ready to grow a beard or heaven help grow other things...any calming words of advise....signd scarred
