I'm 41yrs old, Divorced mother of 3 girls 19, 13 and 4yrs old.I was diagnosed with PKD August 13th and I'm finding it very hard to deal with. I suffer from Migraines and I have severe pain in my back all the time.

Thanks for responding. I am really feeling depressed these days. Worried about myself, worried about my boys. I haven't really told many people about PKD, I guess I'm still in a is this really mode. I'm glad I found this sight; still learning the ins and outs of it. Here in Tuscaloosa it's Alabama football. My husband is shouting about the game (11am) and I couldn't get out of bed until 3:00.

Welcome and I wish you the best of this journey. I am just afew years older than you and a mom too. I know I worry about being there for my son, but I have learned that PKD is not a death sentence and there are people here you can lean on when nobody else understands.
