Yeah, it did change after pregnancy but it seems to be quite minimal still
i mean, i am sure people can see the bumps but i am never questioned or people never look at me weird for it...
i do worry all the time, but what can i do really? its not like i can control it so if i worry it consumes me and i really do not want that for my life
i would love to have another child, but even without NF the task seems daunting lol
hope all is well and we will chat more soon
Hi Becs, how you going? In relation to your question, I had ED surgery performed on me around 3 months ago though it was only a test patch so see if I was pleased with the results. The doctor worked on about 10 neurofibroma on my chest, and pretty happy with the results :) They did leave some scarring.. I have Asian skin so my skin scars dark & it left a few keloids but nothing too major. I much rather flat skin then the bumps! I'm going for the works late next month which I'm excited about. I've been rubbing vitamin E oil into my scars and using scar treatment gels and it looks like it's helped the scarring, but scars heal over time too, so that could be a factor as well. I would definitely recommend the treatment if you'd be willing to sacrifice scarring over bumps. After my treatment, I'm going to get a spray tan and see if it covers the scarring.. I'll give you updates for when I do :) Have you seen Dr. Weinberg's page? It has some pictures you can check out. Also check out this link.. It's pretty much a whole thread on ED together with pics of results. After seeing that it motivated me to get something done :) Hope it helps you make the right choice too..! http://ctf.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.ph...
