Is it just me or have alot of parents been on the news lately for murdering their toddlers. I mean in the past year? Well I sure have seen alot. its ridiculous. I feel I am a decent person. I am doing the best I can. I would provide a loving home for a child. But why have I been cursed with this problem? Has anyone else felt their religious views slip away since they have been having these problems? Well I have. i dont even want to go to church anymore because I dont feel like God is helping me. Why would he let those beautiful children be born into terrible families where they end up getting beat or even worse murdered. I would never do such a thing so why am I not getting pregnant.
Maybe I am just having one of those days but I am getting so annoyed. My doctor finally gave me Clomid after waiting for so long and I got the bottle filled and everything. And guess what no period comes. So now I am on my 8th day of Provera praying that I have a cycle soon. I am going insane.
Also many people have been asking me but yes my husband had a semen analysis and the doctor said everything's fine on his end of things.
I am still really confused as to why I am not having a period. The doctor said I have a few small cysts but everyything is under control. My hormone levels are good. I was taking 500mg of glucofage and had a period for 3-4 months and was off for 3-4 months. Well this summer my doctor told me to take 1000mg of glucofage a day and guess what.. Its been 5 months and I only had one cycle. What the crap is going on?
This may be a stupid question but is one ovary on the right side and the other ovary is on the left side? Well the reason I ask is because I am having a terrible pain that is in my left lower abdomen. It has been going on for a couple of months. Its pretty constant so I am sure its not that a cysts has burst.. because that pain goes away pretty fast.
Has any of you taken clomid? What was your experience with it? did it help?

Oh, lots of questions, let's see:
Yes, I was mad at God... for a lot of the same reasons. I had to learn that while wanting a child was big for me, my husband needed to be number one because I was neglecting our relationship- actually got that out of a sermon on marriage! (Conceived shortly afterwards. God sure does have a sense of humor.)
Have you sought out a second opinion about the pcos and need for glucophage? I was actually told that that med would not help me because I did not have typical pcos hormone levels. And you have just a few cysts in each ovary- yes, one on the left, the other on the right-? PCOS is more than a few cysts in each ovary.
As for the pain, it could be a cyst forming or it could be ovulation.
We did 3 months of clomid with no success, just a lot of mood swings. Poor, poor husband:( Femara worked for us with no side effects. The manufacturer actually has a coupon on its website for a free 30 day supply, it expires the end of the year. Ask your doc if they can prescribe it this way but you take it like he tells you.
