I am a mother of four children. My two oldest are adults now, but still live at home. My two youngest are teens, one has a baby 15 months old who lives with us. I have been married for 31 years. I had to give up my profession of life insurance agent because of chronic pain from dystonia.

Close Dystonia
I am still surching for the cause of my dystonia. I have been living with the pain of dystonia for over two years. It affects all muscles of my body. Different ones at different times. I have a tremor that is evident if I do not take Inderal 3 times daily. I am looking for a support group in Muskegon, MI.
Treatments
- Baclofen Working / Worked
- Yes there were side effects from the Baclofen, but the benofits outway the side effects. The side efforts were sleepiness and loss of bladder control. The sleepiness can be fought with caffine (just one daily cup of coffee), and the loss of bladder control wore off.
- Benadryl Working / Worked
- I take Benadryl when my usual medications are not helping enough with muscle contractions or tremor. Just one usually helps, but also makes me overly sleepy.
