About Me
I'm a widow and a member of the sandwich generation. I care for my 4 year old grandson and 82 year old mom. My husband was a MS survivor for 30+yrs and I was his caretaker for his last ten years. I am blessed by having survived two heart incidents, bypass surgery. I now deal with staying active to keep arthritis in check and generally have a sarcastic and twisted sense of humor to keep life in check.

Interests
Love to write, poetry, prose and just meandering brain spews. I did oil painting once upon a time and may begin again, time permitting. I play cards with some wonderful Christian women who understand my humor. I am interested in religious discussions but not arguments. Fairly well adjusted considering my environment. I was educated as a mental health worker but it has been a life-saver not a occupation. Now when I get depressed, I know it. I read mysteries, watch mysteries and try to figure out life's mysteries.

Chicken Soup
You seem down soapy, I'm sorry don't beat yourself up, your heart is in the right place, we seem to be traveling the same road and it is a hard road, you are not alone, even though it sure feels that way at times. When I went to see my mom the other night she wouldn't look at me, just seemed so FLAT! It's hard trying to deal with this stranger that looks like my mother but is so not her. You'll be in my prayers tonight.

How could a teacher forget that she had a problem? There is absolutely no excuse for that. One quarter of the school year is over. You may need to get an advocate! Unbelievable!

I’m With You
Well said. I need to explore emotional end of spectrum indeed. I was very creative as a child. Still am. Just have not let it all out, "Shout." These are the things I'm talking about. Good lyrics too... But why repeat what others have so brilliantly expressed? Its just redundant and iterative.

Too bad that the poetry Ive posted are song lyrics by Roger Waters, writer and original member of Pink Floyd... I can write, but mostly research, persusasive, and logic oriented material. Emotional content is rather lacking in my writtings as I tend to gear towards understanding via logic and reason. I'm glad people enjoyed the lyrics though!
