wow. I was just recently diagnosed with Graves and started PTU. My endo said i would be on it for 2 to 3 months then get RAI. So, far, I haven't seen much greatness to going that route. I wish you the best and just remember "there is light at the end of the tunnel".
Hi, Dana, My situation is nearly identical to yours. I'm 48, was diagosed with Graves last fall and with TED early in '09. Your photo is the first that I have seen that looks like what I've experienced with the severe puffiness above and below the eyes. I have found, as others have said, that things do improve with time.
