I am 36 years old, live in NY and am rather shy. My hobbies include reading, watching movies and visiting museums. Unfortunately despite my relatively young age, I suffer from knee arthritis which for right now sometimes limits the activities I am able to partcipate in. I stumbled upon this website by chance and am hoping that Daily Strength will be of some comfort to me when I am feeling low.

I’m With You
I read your post in the arthritis column. I have osteo in both knees. I had chondromalacia Patellae growing up. The docs now call it osteo. I asked to see my Xray and it was all white which meant bone on top of bone. I just finished four months of PT(named Pain and torture)what it gave me was a little bit of flexibility but it not take the pain away at all. In fact, I walk peg leg a lot bec. I am afraid of the pain when my knees lock or slip. Its scarey. Write to me anytime and maybe we can chat sometime. I also suffer from agoraphobia. I have two groups on here clutterbusters, and dental cowards. Enough of me, tell me how you are. Oh, and I am young as well.
