i am over 500 pounds, depressed with no life and i need to know that i am not out here alone with my struggles. i am contemplating surgery but am willing to try other stuff before i do that!
Treatments
- 6 Week Body Makeover Not Working
- i am not a cook and there was too much to be toting around!
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- i know that if drink any dairy, i will poop immediately or if i eat peanut butter or shrimp, i cannot breathe!
- NutriSystem Considering
- i am going to try this approach because i am busy and i do not cook.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- worked i the past but now, i am embarrassed to go to a gym and plus the pain on my body
- Slim-Fast Working / Worked
- but i was hungry all the dang time!
- South Beach Diet Somewhat Helpful
- i don't like to cook and some of the recipes were just outrageous

- but i was hungry all the dang time!
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) Depressioni suffer from sad, depression, generalized anxiety disorder...and i just want to talk to people who are going through what i am and maybe we can be a comfort to each other!
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- presently taking...the lowest dosage for the past 3 years and i feel that the dosage needs to be upped!
- Paxil Not Working
- first med that i took and i wanted to kill myself!
- Prozac Working / Worked
- i loved taking prozac but i took myself off 3 years ago because i did not want to be taking this for a lifetime, but i need it!
- Support from Friends & Family Not Working
- i have no friends and my family does not support me when it comes to my well being and mental health
- Trazodone Somewhat Helpful
- took for a minute...don't remember why the doctor took me off
- Writing Working / Worked
- but, i tore them up because in the past people have gotten a hold of them and read them and i was ridiculed by family and friends.
