Close Ovarian Cancer
I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer two and a half years ago. I have had almost constant chemo. Never had a remission. Now my numbers are going up again.
Treatments
- Carboplatin Working / Worked
- Took it with Taxol. Lost my hair. Had bad nausea and vomiting. Lost 20 pounds. It worked while I took it, but when I stopped, the cancer came back within a month.
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- Gemcitabine Too Soon to Tell
- I am taking it now. I have had 3 rounds and my numbers are still going up. Side effects are pain in the feet and terrible itching.
- Taxotere Working / Worked
