Thanks so much!!! Do u have constant Lower back pain and flank pain as well and if so what meds do they have u on to help with that? I have put on so much weight in my stomach and flank area and cannot lose weight there as much as i try it really sucks.. Im starting to look prego :( I was always really small like 125-130 and now im 154 pounds

Close Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)
I was diagnosed with PKD almost 20 years ago. My kidney function is now about 10%, and my kidneys are so huge that I look like I'm fat--I know what's really going on, but I hate my huge size.
Close Pre-menstrual Syndrome (PMS)
Well, I'm usually a horrible mess during PMS. This month, though, I had an entirely new twist! After an abdominal surgery last month, I ended up having 4 weeks of PMS!! OUCH!! And you're right--it screwed up my life--big time!

Open Anemia
Type: Iron Deficiency AnemiaI suppose I'll be slightly anemic until I get a kidney transplant...but earlier this year, I was so anemic that I could barely stand up even, and I kept having dizzy spells and passing out!
Treatments
- Epogen Not Working
- Didn't work when I was on peritoneal dialysis; must be working now that I'm on hemo., because I haven't relapsed yet.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Must be working.
- Blood Transfusion Working / Worked
- Worked better than anythingso the bottom line was that I let myself run low on blood. Never never never again!!
