I have to focus on my gratitude list. I've spent too much time recently feeling sorry for myself; feeling down and depressed; and that doesn't help anyone. So here's my gratitude list for now:
Feeling more strength come back into my body
Having my grandchildren all here for the wedding
Sharing in my youngest grandchild's first Halloween
Having Mom back home
Having my sister come and spend a week with me - just to make me feel better
My supportive and loving husband - who is always there for me
This wonderful forum where you are free to share and everyone knows what you are going through - that's such a blessing!
I have so many things to be grateful for. I think we all need to focus on that and not on how we are feeling at this time. I know things are going to get better, but I have a chronic condition. I have to learn to live with that and not let it control me. So focusing on the good in my life will help with that.
I'm looking forward to hearing all others' gratitude lists. Let's hear it, folks!
