About me.
Well, I am hoping to find some help/advice and some support on this site. And hopefully make a few new friends. I am trying to lose weight so I can …
My name is Autumn. I am 22 years old and married. I have very low self esteem, due to my weight. I carry all my weight in my belly, which causes strangers to ask me when I am due, if i am having a boy or girl. And I have never even been pregnant. :( It causes my low self esteem. My dad's side of the family is like that all over weight and carry it in the belly. I want to lose weight in my belly and my thighs. But over all I want to feel better and look better. And I need motivation and support.

I just made my first entry and we WILL become great friends!
Dear Dragynfyer -
I have been on both ends of this coin. Talk about karma being a B_ _ _ _!
I have had more than one experience with people asking me when I was due (when I WASN'T pregnant). The first time I said, "I'm not pregnant" and it was so clear by the expression on this womans face she was embarrassed. She apologized and that was the end of it. Later, it happened again and I just said, "In a few months" because I immediately remembered that previous womans reaction and I thought this would be the quickest way to end the situation. I wasn't proud of my answer and my mood was pretty shot for the rest of the day.
Then one day while I was working as a clerk, this woman and her two kids... probably under 10 came up to the counter. She REALLY did look like she was about 5 or 6 months pregnant. I asked her when she was due? She said in a very sarcastic tone, "Due for what?" I think I turned 5 shades of red and I flashed back to that first woman who asked the same thing of me. If THAT wasn't bad enough, I stammered and said, "I'm sorry, I thought you were pregnant." Oh My God.... lets shove my foot FARTHER down my throat! Luckily her kids didn't laugh, but it was so evident that I hurt this woman very badly. I knew in my heart I was much more humiliated than she was embarrassed and that right there taught me a very valuable lesson - "Catherine... Keep your mouth SHUT!"
I haven't since ever made a comment like that.
This is such a struggle, I know Sweetie... but PLEASE check back to this site often... Get your strength, as I will... write ANY of us whenever you want... we WILL be here for you!
