33 y/o bf mother of two, currently residing in the Phoenix, AZ area. I have been married to a USAF Airman for 14 yrs. I am unique, compassionate, lovable and a tab bit quirky. I am always "out there" but it is always on a very practical basis. People seem drawn to me and my willingness to listen. People just pour out their lives and problems, while leaning on my shoulder. I was told I most likely had Fibromyalgia in Sept/Oct of 2005. I then resigned from my job as a Histologist that Dec. That was the turning moment for me, no going back ya know. I have not worked since. Currently I am trying to get my Fibro to a manageable level. As you all know that is very hard. I miss working but just going out to the grocery store or to a friends house causes mini crashes.

FMS X 4yrs- Began developing in July 2005, resigned from my job in Dec 05. Diagnosed July 2007. It's been a hard journey but I'm still here.
grew up w/ Severe Asthmatic mother but did not develop Asthma until after the birth of my first child in 96. My Asthma then contributed to me being Medical Boarded from the USAF while pregnant with my 2nd child. My asthma is under control and I take care not to aggravate it.
USAF Veteran- 1995-00 SrA/HT052, current USAF Dependent Spouse of 14 yrs. Previous bases- Eglin AFB- 96-03, Elmendorf AFB- 03-07 and Luke AFB- 07-current
I have suffered from Migraine headaches since puberty. they became progressively worse the older I got. I now have Fibromyalgia as well which "helps" to trigger them.
Developed Osteo-Arthritis during the sudden weight gain from my first pregnancy. I am very small boned person. I am 5'5" tall and was 120 lbs @ the beginning of my first pg. I delivered my ds @ 178. I lost the weight going back down to 135 but delivered my dd @ 218. I currently weigh 256. My mother, m-grandmother and great grandmothers all developed osteo-arthritis as well. My mothers sister had her knees replaced @ 49. It's not looking so hot for me.
I developed Depression @ a young age. I remember having disturbing thoughts as young as 8. I have fought an interesting battle w/ my depression and continue to be successful @ maintaining an even keel.
At 12 I was diagnosed w/ ADD but was not told. At 28 I was "re-diagnosed" after having work issues. I have never been medicated my parents felt I could overcome it. I developed coping skills as a way to survive not even knowing it. Grade school was very difficult for me/ I knew something about was different but didn't know what.
