I am 26 years old. I've been married for about 3 months now. I have a three year old daughter of my own. My husband has three children. I was diagnosed with RA about 2 years ago. Also, having lupus symptoms and trying to get that under control. I was diagnosed with Sjogrens a couple months ago.

Hi Katie! I'm doing pretty good actually. I'm not on oxygen anymore and I don't have to use that nebulizer.
We are finally getting some nice slow rain here and we really really needed it. How are things in the Alamo town? Any rain down there? How have you been feeling lately? Are you ready for some fall weather? I am really ready. We will have lots of falling leaves but I'm so tired of the heat and humidity I won't even mind mulching all these leaves. ;) It's nice to hear from you. Take care my friend, Linda

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I was diagnosed with RA about 1 1/2 years ago. I am 26 years old now. I have a three year old daughter. The biggest challenges for me are trying to cope with this disease while the people around me are going on with their lives as normal.
Treatments
- Enbrel Working / Worked
- Still pretty new, but seems to be working. I don't think that I am completely stable yet. Still too many flare ups.
- Folic Acid Somewhat Helpful
- Still get a lot of mouth ulcers.
- Humira Working / Worked
- I taking 2 shot every week plus one shot of methotrexate every week. It didn't work. It caused depression and mood swimgs.
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- Causes mouth ulcers but keeps the inflammation down
- Dexamethasone Working / Worked
- Some weird side effects but seemed to help with the pain for the most part. Caused low potassium levels and muscle spasms.
Close Sjogren's Syndrome
I was diagnosed with Sjogrens about 3 months ago.
Open Depression
Type: Seasonal Affective DisorderI think most of my depression symptoms are caused by rheumatoid arthritis and some of the medication I am using to treat it.

- Zoloft Working / Worked
- Seems to be working, causes dry mouth
