Thx hun :) That's great, I'm glad. I was on Celexa too but it was giving me bad side effects so I had to stop taking it. But I'm glad it's working for u. So how is your weekend so far? Mine is going good I got a Christmas tree at a yard sale for $5. That's a pretty good price for a Christmas tree. But I had to get up at 5am to get it, I really didn't wanna get up though lol but I'm glad I did :) Well take care hun

That's good :) I'm doing okay just have had a cold the past couple of days...I've also had alot of sinus pressure so I've been resting alot. I hate being sick. I hope your having a good day! You can hug/message me anytime you want/need to talk. Hugs!

Close High Blood Pressure
I was officially diagnosed with high blood pressure a couple of months ago. I'm going to be 25 in a couple of weeks. I started my treatment with hydrochlorothiazide which didn't lower my blood pressure enough. Changed to lisinopril which made me very lightheade. Now i'm taking Metoprolol and my BP is ok, but not great. I'm just very anxious and sometimes panic about my BP and/or pulse.
Treatments
- Fish Oil Too Soon to Tell
- No side effects
- Lisinopril Somewhat Helpful
- Worked to lower my BP, but made me very lightheaded. Felt like I was going to pass out every time I stood up.
- Lisinopril/HCTZ Somewhat Helpful
- Worked to lower my BP, but made me very lightheaded. Felt like I was going to pass out every time I stood up.
- Metoprolol Somewhat Helpful
- Im only taking 12.5 mg twice a day right now. Its helped some but my BP is still high sometimes. Was tired the first day but not too many side effects after that.
Close Anxiety
Anyone else a hypochondriac? I am and right now i'm obsessed with my blood pressure and heart. I recently started treatment with an ace inhibitor for high blood pressure and had lightheadedness as a side effect. I recently switched to a beta blocker and have been better, but now i've noticed my pulse goes up when I stand. Does anyone know if this is normal?
Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- I just use it as needed. It works quickly and takes the edge off my anxiety. Only down side is it makes me extremely tired.
